Ingredients

  • 2 packages of shirataki noodles
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shirataki noodles thoroughly under cold water for about 2-3 minutes. This helps to remove the natural odor of the noodles.
  2. Drain the noodles and pat them dry with paper towels. You can also dry-fry them in a pan without oil for a few minutes to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the prepared shirataki noodles to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, then add the heavy cream and butter to the skillet. Stir continuously until the butter melts and the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it’s fully melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the noodles in the sauce until well-coated. Transfer to serving plates and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
