These Instant Pot Garlic Mashed Potatoes are rich, creamy and so easy to make. Whether for elegant dinner parties or simple weeknight dinners.
– red potatoes – garlic – chicken stock – sea salt – pepper – heavy cream – unsalted butter
1. Start by peeling and slightly smashing the cloves of garlic.
2. Combine potatoes, garlic and broth in Instant Pot. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste, and stir to combine. Add lid and lock into sealing position.
3. When cook time is complete, allow pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then switch to the venting position for a quick release any remaining pressure.
4. Carefully remove lid and add heavy cream and butter. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or immersion blender until almost smooth, but still slightly chunky.
