Sometimes we have to just make time for workouts where we can, which means taking advantage of every moment we can. How do you use your lunch hour? You definitely need some time to eat, but what do you think about doing a beneficial 15 min workout using your desk and chair?

Crazy, you say?

I say…give it a try!

You don’t have to always break a pouring stinky sweat to burn calories and tone muscle. However, if you do break a sweat, there are some athletic wipes that will have you refreshed in a jiffy!

These are the ones I just ordered from Amazon for a Fitness Conference I’m attending. There won’t be time to shower in between classes and workouts…but with these I will stay fresh for whoever is sitting beside me. I can only hope that person has used some also!

There are a couple of things you can do while at work to help progression towards your weight loss and fitness goals. Below are some examples of exercise that can be done easily on your lunch break!

I really enjoy lean chicken breasts. There are so many ways to prepare them. My kids get tired of chicken…so for their sake I do try to change it up often.

Lemon Garlic Chicken

1/2 cup Lemon juice
1/4 cup Honey
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs Chicken Breasts
Salt & Pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients. Marinate at least 1 hour. Grill over medium-high heat until done.

Complex carbs in the early hours of the day to give you energy. Lean meats, chicken veggie and fruit in the afternoon and very lean no carbs at night. I’m 52 and I have found weight lifting to help me the most, making me strong, lean and menopause much easier. I’m also a cert. personal trainer, nutritionist so if you have any other questions just ask!!!!
